Privacy Policy
Last updated: 6 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information Santo Cuervo Tattoo Collective collects when you visit our website, send us an enquiry or get tattooed with us, how we use it, and the rights you have over it.
Who we are. Santo Cuervo Tattoo Collective, 7F Clapton Square, London E5 8HP, United Kingdom. We are the controller of your personal information. For anything to do with your data, email [email protected].
The information we collect
- Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
- Your enquiry: the answers you give in our enquiry form, such as the style, size and placement of your tattoo, whether you can travel to the studio, your budget, your description of the idea and any reference images you upload.
- Booking information: appointment dates, the artist you are booked with, deposits and payments, and notes about your design.
- Health and consent information: before you are tattooed we ask you to complete a consent form, which can include health details (for example skin conditions, allergies, medication or pregnancy) and photo ID to confirm you are over 18. We only collect this to tattoo you safely and to meet our legal and insurance obligations.
- Messages: anything you send us by email, text message, phone or Instagram.
- Technical information: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit and how you use our website, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see below).
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, give you a quote and match you with an artist. We do this to take steps you have asked for before entering into a contract with you.
- To book and carry out your tattoo, take deposits and payments, and send reminders and aftercare. This is necessary to perform our contract with you.
- To keep you safe. We process health information with your explicit consent, given on the consent form, and to meet our legal and insurance obligations.
- To follow up on your enquiry by phone, email, text or Instagram, including reminders about an offer you enquired about. We do this in our legitimate interests, and you can tell us to stop at any time.
- To measure and improve our advertising and website, for example seeing which adverts lead to enquiries. We use non-essential cookies for this only with your consent.
- To keep records we are required to keep by law, and to protect our business and our forms from spam and fraud.
Cookies and tracking
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential for the site and enquiry form to work. Others help us understand how the site is used and measure our adverts:
- Meta Pixel and Conversions API (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd), to measure the results of our Facebook and Instagram adverts and show relevant adverts.
- Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation), to see how visitors use our pages so we can improve them.
- Cloudflare Turnstile (Cloudflare, Inc.), to protect our enquiry form from spam.
- HighLevel (HighLevel, Inc.), the platform that hosts our website and enquiry form and stores enquiries.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking some cookies may stop parts of the website, including the enquiry form, from working properly.
Who we share it with
We never sell your personal information. We only share it with:
- The artist you are matched with, so they can plan and carry out your tattoo.
- Service providers who help us run the studio, such as our website and customer database provider (HighLevel), email and messaging services (Google, Meta), advertising and analytics partners (Meta, Microsoft), spam protection (Cloudflare), payment and finance providers, and the marketing agency that manages our adverts and enquiries for us. They may only use your information to provide their service to us.
- Authorities or advisers where the law requires it, or to protect our rights, for example our insurers, the local council or the police.
International transfers
Some of our service providers are based in, or store data in, the United States and other countries outside the UK. Where this happens, we rely on protections recognised under UK data protection law, such as UK adequacy regulations (including the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework) or the UK International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a booking: up to 2 years from your last contact with us, then deleted.
- Client records, consent forms and booking history: up to 7 years after your last appointment, for legal, insurance and health and safety reasons.
- Cookie and analytics data: for the periods set by each provider.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
- ask us to delete your information;
- ask us to restrict or stop using your information, or object to how we use it;
- ask us to transfer your information to you or someone else in a usable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent;
- tell us to stop contacting you about our services at any time.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will reply within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113, although we would appreciate the chance to sort out any concern with you first.
Under 18s
It is illegal to tattoo anyone under 18 in the UK, so our services and enquiry form are only for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we find we have, we will delete it.
Keeping your information safe
We use reputable, secure providers, limit access to the people who need it, and keep paper consent forms stored securely at the studio.
